    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Minnesota being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Minnesota had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The Hawks are already planning on Walker not being there. They are under the cap and can spend on some help with a prolific scorer in Szczerbiak. It would give more experience to Childress (becuase his role would be elevated. I just know that the Hawks have had numerous....NUMEROUS high drafts and still have not been able to make something work. Unless they don't care about alienating the fans and having all of the empty seats.

I know Walker is planning on leaving, but for the Hawks you are still giving away your two best players for two below average players, and an up-and-coming scorer.

No way it would happen, just because RealGM says it works, doesn't mean it's logical.

And that's what they should fix. They should make it like NBA2k5 and rate the players in your request so if Lebron and Eddie Griffins salaries matched, it would turn it down.

Hawks are not dumping Harrington. They are going to build around Harrington and Josh Smith.

I wish we could do this trade, we would definantly benefit. But I'm pretty sure atlanta would not do it.
