goddam what a game form iverson. he put the team on his back. i think though that new orleans will be too much for philly unless iverson gets 40-50 points in every game. new orleans is deeper and better balanced

Spectacular game for Iverson. 55 points on 21/32 shooting. That's plain amazing. But still the sixers only won by 8.

if this is a sign of things to come, there could be some trouble for the other east teams

Yeah, Iverson's 55 pts kicked ass. If he keeps this fire burning high, the Sixers def. could be the champion this year. Or at least @ the Final Conference.

10 years ago on this date MJ dropped his 63. And now AI drops 55. Great win for the 76ers. AI was the only player who could score tonight for the 76ers, unless it was a FT. Those 2 charges Snow took were huge, and Baron Davis got into foul trouble too early. I hope he can stay healthy for the rest of the series. I have a feeling this is going to be a 7 game series.

Not good when one guy scores 56% percent of his teams points. I think this will be a long series.

That's generally the case when players score this much in the playoffs or in competitive regular season games because that player is usually the only one producing for the team which is why they need to take the huge scoring load. If the 6ers role players step up then they can very easily win this series...

props to iverson. but yeah, it'd be better for the team if someone else other than iverson was scoring too.

ivy needs help. kvh just sucked, he needs to step it up for the sixers to win the series.

btw go sixers(so when the magic beat the pistons, they'd play the sixers 8) , instead of the hornets.)

i wouldn't say that, during the regular season he was just trying to get his teammates involved, now he's trying to do it all again. the amazing thing about this though was his fg %

maybe, but with kobe, tmac, ai, pp, shaq, td, dirk. u never know if there will be a better performance, cause all of them are capable of going off and scoring 50+. this will probably be the best scoring performance, but probably not the best performance. i could see kg scoring 42 and having 20 rebounds in game 2, because he will be pissed. i can see kidd getting a triple double. (same with tmac and kobe). i could see duncan and shaq getting 50 and 25 rebounds :| , when playoff time comes around everyone steps up their game, and with the quality of the stars now a day, u never know what will happen.
