Can anyone please explain to me, how Kevin Love didn't make the Rookie/Soph game on All-Star weekend?!? He's on one of the hottest team3 (10-3 since the start of the new year) and has been one of thier most consistent players averaging and insane 10/10 off the bench in about 22min a game!!! In fact even though 'Sota lost to Detroit tonight Love still chipped in 17pts, 10 rbs, 4 asst in 25 min!!! Giving him 9 double doubles in 13 games!!! Off the frickin' bench!!!

How did Gasol get picked over Love? They have compairable stats...yet Memphis has a worse record and Gasol gets about 10min more a game of playing time!!! Seriously, what does the kid have to do to get some recognition? I'm just not getting it...:dunno::sigh:

That's crazy. I guess they looked to much in to team success but even Mayo made it, and his team sucks. I'm sure you're not the only one out raged by this. It's unfair though. Love is playing very well and should be in.

Yup, it's ridiculous. Hopefully Jefferson will make the AS team, that should soften the blow for you.

I know, right?!? But what hurts is that Marc Gasol made it in over Love?!? They have about the same stats, yet Love plays about 10min less a game than Gasol.....I'm shocked and pissed to no end!!!

There's a good chance somebody will back out due to injury and Jefferson will end up being on the team.

David West is currently injured, maybe he'll replace him.

Yeah, but will he still be out in a half a month? What's the severity of his injury?

How David West made it in over Al Jeff, Durant, Melo or Deron I'll never understand. Al Jeff definitely got snubbed, he has been playing fantastic ball this year. Same with Durant.

I think nba coaches are idiots. They should change it so the nba players vote for each other off a list (and they can't vote for their teammates).

That's how it should be done because nba coaches and some of the nba fans out there are freakin' morons when it comes to voting selections. It's sickening how 3 players from the same team get represented while a player with better stats and bigger individual impact towards their team gets left out.

Al Jefferson should have been an all-star. A guy who gets 50% on field goals, over 10 rebounds a game, constant trips to the foul line, almost a steal, and almost two blocks a game should be in it. Without him, Minny would have even a less chance in games. It's so retarded, I haven't seen such travesties since these 1 time all-stars scoring under 15ppg and are 2nd banana to someone else keep getting in while guys like the Clippers' Elton Brand got something like 20 ppg, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks per game, consistently throughout the seasons.

So what if a team has a better win record, an all-star is still an all-star and he's extremely valuable to any team! Al Jefferson is this year's Elton Brand. Total snub. Change the voting, this is ridiculous. I'm starting to hate the nba management. It's just lacking a lot of truth.

I was even pissed when Grant Hill kept getting voted in, when the dude hadn't even begun to earn his paycheck from Orlando.

    OOOOOOOHHHHH DAMN!!!!

You knew I had to come back on this one....grrrrr......this is so F'n ridiculous!!! First Love is snubbed for Marc Gasol?!?!? WTF!!!!

And now Big Al is snubbed and West is in?!? Don't get me wrong, I like West, but over a consistant 20/10 guy who has lead his team to one of the best record since the new year!!! Damn...why didn't the coaches just bring in Chandler as well? ..shizit!!!

I honestly couldn't even write anything on here for awhile...I was in denile and was waiting for a recount or sumthin'....lol

    I'm pissed beyond belief!!! WOW!!!

I'm with you man, this is ridiculous. Big Al is the only reason (other than Foye/LOVE in a few cases) that we were winning at all to start the year. He put up great numbers all year, and now this? Stupid shit.

The nba does this every year, there should be a protest or something.

I still say players should vote who gets in. Not the coaches. Coaches are asshats.
