The show starts with a video package looking at Finn Balor winning the NXT Championship in Tokyo. The reign of The Demon has begun. Rich Brennan welcomes us to the show. NXT Champion Finn Balor makes his way to the ring. Byron Saxton and Corey Graves are also on commentary. Greg Hamilton is in the ring with Finn. Greg congratulates Balor on beating Kevin Owens to win the title. Balor says he’s been doing this for 15 years in multiple countries. There were a lot of decisions to be made, and one of those included coming to NXT. After winning the title, Finn knew all the sacrifices were worth it to do this… *raises title*. Hamilton brings up the rematch that is scheduled for NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. The match will be made official later tonight in a contract signing. Owens has sidelined Zayn and Itami. He’s beat Neville, Cesaro, and John Cena. But he didn’t beat Finn Balor. Balor promises to retain in Brooklyn. Brennan, Saxton, and Graves are shown at commentary. Rich reminds us we can watch Beast in the East on the WWE Network on demand any time. The contract signing takes place tonight. Bayley vs. Emma will also take place tonight.
