Did you know more people have walked on the moon (12) than players who have scored against Mariano Rivera in the postseason (11)?

More to come in the Days & Weeks to follow....

Please feel free to add some of your own....

Did you know that before the team became the “Yankees” in 1913, they were called the
Highlanders from 1902-1912.......but did you know that the team began as the Baltimore
Orioles of 1901 before they moved to NY.
I did not know that! My bother-in-law told me
    this tidbit.

I was stationed in DC in the early Eighties but lived in Maryland so it was always brought up when the Yankees came in that the Yankees went to New York from Baltimore. My theory is that they left Baltimore to go to a better place. For some reason the New York Press started using Yanks a an alleged short form of Highlanders. Glad they ended up as the Yankees.
