Yanks put CC and Hicks on the active roster and take off Voit and Wade. Nothing like putting in Hicks who hasn’t seen live action in months against the best pitching staff in baseball. I’m sure this will go great.

Can't argue how good his defense is. I'd rather have him out there late in a game than Stanton.

That’s why Maybin is for. Also, can Hicks still make the same throws he could before the elbow injury? If not, then he’s useless.

If they start Hicks in CF, that probably means that either Gardner or Urshela will be on the bench and while the OF defense may be a bit stronger it also means that the IF defense will be weaker.

I don't think the lineup changes quite frankly.

I can't remember the MLB Network "expert" was who made this call but allegedly with Hicks on board the Yankees gain 2 because he (Hicks) is a switch hitter. Rosters being what they are my main concern is with Boner making the right mves

...ahhh, so Hicks does NOT start.

...FWIW, win, lose, or draw, I'd like Cashman figure out a way to jettison Stanton this off season.

Stanton has a no trade but would ok one to dodgers. Maybe with dodgers going out early there is a match there

^^^yeah, it's by no means a full NTC but I believe there are a few teams he'd agree to go to...since day 1 I've just always felt he's a just a poor fit for the Yanx, especially now since the Yanx have become too RHed heavy on offense.

Stanton has a full NTC and can only go if he wants to. Also an opt out after the 2020 season which is not happening. So it’s the dodgers if he wants to go or just stays a yankee which is just as likely

Need to make Greinke throw more pitches. Easier said then done.
