The bullpen has gotta step up. I never cared for the Britton signing, but D-Rob had to go. I have zero faith in Betances aka Jekyl/Hyde. Chapman's anything but stellar. I want to believe in the Big O, #0.... Every year for five years we've been told how great our Bullpen is. Yankee fans know better. More small ball with a Twist of long ball. Balance both, something Bonehead and Rothschild knows little about. Imo- Rothschild has forgotten more than he can remember.... exit larry-
Unless a miracle happens pitching on paper favors Houston. +If Loaisiga has an early exit the Bull Pen is in trouble once again. I wonder how much longer it will take Boner to figure out that neither Stanton nor Voit in the three hole is a good move. Haven't seen much success from eith one so damnit Boner, figure another was.
I don't get Boners lack of fundamental baseball knowledge? The 3 hole s/b where the best overall hitter belongs - LeMahieu, i.e. Mattingly, O'Neill, Mantle etc.
O'Neil needs to slap Boner around a bit and instill some knowledge of a winner. Girardi had 3 championships with the Yankees as a Player then managed the '09 Team to a championship christening the new stadium. Then you have Boner, medocre contributions as a Yankee Player with one lucky home run. &(&*&(&_*&_(*&*&*(__((*_9
One very very lucky home run and BaBoone wants all the hitters to emulate him, without teaching the Baby Bombers the true lineage of Greats. He's nothing more than a short time temporary shit stain amongst Yankee greats. 54 Gms, 204 AB's, 48 Hits, .254 B'Avg, 6 Hr's. If he had 1/2 a brain in his head he'fire himself and get (back) down of his knees (again), and beg Trashman to send him to Single A Charleston IF Bill Murray would have him, which is highly unlikely. Tho' Murray could use him running out on the tarp and sliding when it rains...
The 1st ever game played in the Astrodome, was an exhibition game, versus the Yankees on this day in 1965. It was a two to one Astros Victory and their first game as he Astros and no longer the Colt 45. Billed as the eighth wonder of the world, it was actually the first blunder of the world ...
Greg Bird gets punished for his’Golden Sombrero’ last night. Now clueless Boner bats Voit second with his stellar BA .189. Who needs a brain on this bench? Guess who?
Bird stunk worse than a Gul Coast Red Tide last night. Rather see Bird at 1st, Voit is sucking from both sides of the dish, cannot bat Voit or Stanton behind Judge.
