Hope the hitters have seen the err of their ways instead of going for the HRs, small ball gets them much more.
Good to see everyone contributing last night....gives opponent pitchers something to think about.

Biggie’s been off lately. Hope he’s able to turn it around with that extra day off. Still think this could be
    his last year in pinstripes.

I think Gleyber Torres & Miguel Andujar are two of the best bad ball hitters in the major leagues.....reminds me
of the immortal Yogi Berra who I saw hit a HR to right field when the pitcher threw a 50’ pitch in the dirt.
On one bounce that ball sailed far and gone!

The conservative Diddly & Dooley Steinbrenner brothers are making sure they do not exceed the 197M luxury
tax threshold. They are presently at 192.1M. Only the Red Sox ( 238.4M ) and Washington ( 203.9M) are over
the luxury tax threshold. No wonder Trashman did not go after a premier starting pitcher. Father Steinbrenner
would not have given a shit the final cost to bring New York a champion.

With his salary & bonuses for # of innings pitched, he’d probably order filet mignon!
Yet, it is still a cow!

Spot on with that one. Yogi could golf them right down that right field line.

That left handed pitcher is Patrick Corbin who will be 29 yrs old next year. He’s worth a shot.
Do you want a Harper on the Yankees?
If they take Machado, that means Didi goes &/or Andujar. Really?

With the team scoring 5 runs in the first inning on Friday nite, that is more runs than the team scored
in 6 of their last 9 road games.......that’s total runs per game. No wonder we were all bitchin’ about the team’s
    offense.

I sure as hell don't want to see Harper on this Yankee Team, let him go to LA or Philly. Andujar is the guy I like at third, he nneds work on his "D" but I think that will come. A River Avenue Blues writer thought that signing Machado and moving Andujar to First could work. Corbin would be a great addition. I don't think Gardners option will be picked up and Biggie is running out of pinstripe time.

No Infield or OF Vacancies 4 Machado or Harper.
    It's going to get interesting:
    -Will Trashman sign Cutch??
-How long b4 Voit cools off?
-Will 2019 be Voits Sanchez like Swan Dive??
-Clint Fazier, is he another Drury physically....

Wich prospect(s) flying under the radar, will make a big splash, once called up from the minors....

I'm a bit leery Sheffield maybe overrated.
I would rather see Mike King than Sheffield. King at S/W-B 1.15 ERA, 4-0 in 6 GS,

Who will be the next unsung hero drafted in the late late later rounds, &/or a player who isn't destined to even make it to the Bronx, in a similar way as Donnie BB i.e. Drafted in 1979 25th pick of the 19th round, 493rd overall...

I'd believe Voit tobe a flash in the pan. Bird should be embarrassed over losing his job period let alone to a Johnny Come Lately. Andujar, Gregoriuos, GT and Bird looked to be a potentially great infield. We now know what and where improvements are necessary.

Carson Charles Sabathia, strange to write out his full name. Easy 6 pitch inning.
