Saw mention of Scherzer on the game one post. I did see an article that the Nationals may make Scherzer available. The man signed a deal with Washington thinking they had a chance to win which never materialized. At 2 ears & 2o + mil on his contract Cashman should be checking up on that one. I think so far this year the Nationals had lost 10 Games started by Scherzer because of their shitty pen.

Tanaka since coming here has had a propensity of giving up the long ball. A REAL pitching coach would try to fix that, but not Rothschild.
