Not exactly two stud pitchers starting tonight, We've recently noted the offense to fail against pitchers with high ERA and poor WL records. The Yankees need to try and sweep all four from New York National and hope that Boston runs into a buzz saw against Cleveland and St Louis. Due to poor pitching and recent shedding of players like Duda, Walker, and Bruce I'd say the Mets are not playing with a full deck so I'm hoping for the best.

Per MLB Network our old buddy Tyler Clippard is now an Astro. According to Harold Reynolds Clippard was not a good fit in New York (no shit) but the Astros saw something in him (Clippard). Wonder what the hell that was.
The issue with Judge is quite simple but the Yankees employ/have a worthless hitting coach. Judge is getting beat consistently on pitches low and away. Umps are calling pitches even off the plate low and away strikes. If you look at his positioning in the batters box he is so far off the plate that it makes it almost impossible for him to get to that low and away pitch. He needs to take a step to two closer to the plate (aka crowd the plate) and take away that low and away pitch as he will be able to get around on it. It's baffling to me that such a simple fix hasn't been taken care of yet. Shows what lackluster coaches we have.
Nice job Cessa, you piece of shit, offense better find something tonight instead of wasting ever fucking opportunity they encounter.
...to be fair, both HRs were on pitches out of the zone...Yanx just can't seem to catch a break lately.
And chance adams continues to dominate at triple A and continues to be invisible to yankee brass for a call up. Don't want to see cessa, caleb or mitchell starting anymore. And as I'm typing useless todd frazier strikes out again
Cessa is absolute garbage with no business on an MLB roster. It's amazing they keep trotting this goddamn bum out there. Yup, it's all about trying to win.
Chance adams current triple A stats: record 9-3, ip-93, h-57, 2.31 era and 0.986 whip. hey cashman, where the fuck is this kid already!!!!!
...it's also all about staying healthy...and the Yanx are not. ...it's also about the Yanx' abysmal offense not making the opposing pitcher who has an ERA of almost 6.00 look like a Cy Young winner.
I just made a bet with my Husband who said they are going to win tonight, so now if they lose he has to shave off his Beard.
Cleveland up on Boston in the 7th 7-3. They Yankees need to get out of the sludge and find a way to win this game.
