Tough assignment tonight, if both pitchers are on we'll see a tight game. Still remember Whitley for the Yankees, De Grom for the Mets debut game for both end resulting in a 1-0 win. Here's hoping the Yankees can win tonight with St Louis clobbering Boston.
...I was also thinking about tonight's pitching matchups...most all of the Mets players are familiar with Sonny Gray, ...but with the exception of maybe Todd Frazier, none of the Yanx hitters are familiar with Degrom...not a good formula for success tonight. ...Judge needs to build on last night and climb out of the abyss he's been in. Wade, Frazier need to start contributing on offense...Gardner needs to get off his ass too.
Gardner -DH Hicks -LF Judge -RF Gregorious -SS Sanchez -C Headley -1B Ellsbury -CF Frazier -3B Torreyes -2B
...^^^weird, very weird...not sure what the thinking is by the Blue Jays. I'd be surprised if they don't pull him back.
Lil, you got an extra "like" from me, not because you are sick. I hit the wrong word.......I meant to hit reply. Drink a lot of fluids. Rest. Get well fast. .....or tell hubby to get rid of the curse.....pronto!
Yankee bats need to stop swinging at air. Just follow the ball and go with the pitch.......if they can see it. DeGrom has been Mets' steadiest pitcher. He will be tough to beat. Hoping Gray is on.

I'm better now my Husband came home from work with Chicken Soup and found me eating Quiche and drinking Wine.........He just shook his head and walked away.
