Always amazes me how former Yankees screw this team. Last night Francona sent our old buddy Nick Goody in to protect a 1-1 tie, at which he failed, gave up 3 runs,, Tampa won and picked up a game in the wild card. Now we have the Red Sox in with our old buddy Nunez on board. The Yankees gat Frazier which kept him from Boston, Boston gets Nunez, call up Devers, and start winning. Frazier can't hit a lick along with the rest of the offense. Since the All Star Break Baltimore is #1 in runs scored, the Yankees at 25th. The offense has shown n inability to back the starters and with Garcia going tonight things don't bode well for the home team. To remain relevant I'd say the Yankees need to win 4/6 against Boston and 3/4 against the Mets. Since mid June this team has been pretty much touch and go and on many occasions one cannot sit back and watch the game. It's on thing if a team gets beat by the opponent, another when the best opposing player were you own fucking up.

Things are nor well in the home, I chose to watch this game over taking the squeeze out dancing. She was not pleased with that decision. If they lose this game I'm really gonna be pissed for more reasons than one. Not going to spend many more what is left of 3-4 hour summer says watching this team hit a wild card spot. Fuck a wild card, no one should get anything for second or third place. Kind of like fiving all the kids who did not win a consolation cup so their feelings aren't hurt. Time for this franchise to return to championship caliber instead of reading the God Damn History books, trust me long time Yankee Fans know better than what this upper management group is trying to sell. Yeah but next year we'll be bull shit, sounds like 50's Dodgers propaganda.

The team roars back from 2-0, with the derby boys each with a walk, and Hicks with a double equaling a big ZERO.

Bosox adding on as Yankee bats continue to flounder. Bad guys ahead 3-0 in the 5 th inning.
Garcia shows he makes more mistakes than not. Way to go Trashman!

This team reminds me of the '84 Padres in the World Series. Starters that could no go deep, giving up crooked number innings. Bull Pen could stop the bleeding, and a non existent offense.

Lots of "warning track" power by the Yankees, unfortunately that does not show up on the scoreboard. Saw Dombrowski sitting in the stands with a big smirk, looks like he kicked Cashmans ass again.

Finally, Hicks Goes yard with man on base. Didi ties game with a single. Keep it going guys!!!
Yes. Todd (where have you been?) Frazier singles the go ahead run. Yankees up 4-3 and still batting.

here i thought/hoped Nunez was going to fall over backwards on Hix bases loaded pop up, in the grass. The Yankee curse is gone, returning heroes where bums departed...wtf- (ie every Yank traded only to beat us later)...even tho' nunez remains anemic with his bat this series.
