If Trashman had half a brain, he'd ensure Torreyes is the Utility player of the future, now, today and tomorrow-year too. a small target sure, Imagine Torreyes in a Ricky Henderson batting stance. Keep the kid, he's good luck a charm, even if he had to pick bats up on his off day, keep 'em, bat 'em use him, do whatever you gotta' do to keep him, without paying Millions on 10 yr long germ contracts with short term buyout clauses. He's on payroll thru this yr, barely league minimum salary, and isn't arb eligible until 019....sign him, whatcha waiting for, ?????

^^^^could not agree more. This pint size dynamo has more enthusiasm & talent than some of Cashman's
    latest pick ups.

Of course the Yankees roll into Chitown after Oakland A's swept Chisox. Hoping Yankees can get a split
in this 4 game series. Asking too much for Sox to lose all their games on their homestand!!!!

Cashman: Brain oxymoron. Torreyes or "Toe" as known by his team mates. Scrappy hustling dude, always looking to make things happen. When he's out there station to station baseball ceases. I've like that kid from day one and glad to see him get more playing time. Don't know if they tried him at first but we know he can better than well cover the remaining infield positions. The players respect him, the fans like him, and dumb fuck Cashman will probably end up trading him. Remember Martin Prado, same scenario!

the only positions Torreyes hasn't played (yet) are CF, RF, 1st Base, Catcher and Pitcher. Something tells me, this is the kinda' kid who could play first base, and stretch 10 feet away for an errant throw to 1st, hell he could probably do anything including delivering the Cheetos to Judge, let 'em be Aaron's body guard.....I'd not pick a fight with 'em....Torreyes that is, (chuckle), ..... or da' Judge...!!!

ps- still not happy about the Prado deal, Martin's found success; Headcase never will..... hot start, cold year....feel's like the Cold War all over again waiting for the shoe to drop....!!! Which some say it never will....not sure if I'm talking about Headcase and the Cold War, what's the difference?????

Yankees have lost their last four series - all to Western Division teams - now the team moves to the Central Division
White Sox.........then back to the West with the best team in baseball, the Houston Astros. Yankee pitching
needs to turn things around if the team is to win a series. There is hope vs. Chicago and very slim vs. Houston.

Let's see how this plays out this week.

Line is on the Yankees tonight, I'm pulling for Jmo to get in there and hang tough. Sweet Home Chicago has been anything but to the Yankees having lost 11 of their last 16. Lets hope the magic that they brought to kick the Cubs in the butt transfers to the White Sox. Renteria stated that the White Sox know what the Yankees are about and the White Sox will bring their "A" Game.

Thanks for the info, just saw the Marchand report. hopefully Gregorius will be at short tomorrow with Torresyes at 2nd Base. Refsnyder has a batting average below what Carter was.
