Let’s hope Tanaka can put the finale Sunday into the W column. The 2nd & 3rd backups need to
relax and play to their strengths. And they all should stay away from their manager’s nervous energy.

Betances, Heller, Montgomery & Severino look to be out well into the season & for some possibly until next year.
We have seen that replacing Severino & Betances has not been achieved by their manager nor their GM.
Young German has shown more promise than either Paxton or Happ. Relievers Holder & Green have come up
empty of late. To say that Yankee pitching is shaky shows why they are floundering under .500.

Saw a comment by Luke Voit this Am on "Quick Pitch" this Am. Voit fielded a question on his bases loaded single that from then on He'd be like Luke Voit and make good productive contact insteard of trying to hit the ball 500' each time up. Lets hope that this becomes an epidemic that changes throughout the team. We like the bombs but they aren't always necessary. Keep the line moving is the style I like. We're going to be lied to about those on the DL for some time to come so all we can do is hope these people can recover and get back.

Saw a suggestion within a post a few days ago that LeMahieu become the lead off hitter because of his constant ability to make contact and reach base. Surprised that Boner bought into that one. Bottom third of the line up ^^&^^*(&))). need a good game from Tanaka today.

My question would be is if Beltran knew Paxton was "tipping" how come Rothschild didn't. Ditto Boner . Don't know how thw rest of you fans feel but I like this revised lineup. Right now LeMahieus is best contact hitter overall so batting hime first makes sense. Gardner may what he was once but a 2 something BA is weak for a ledoof man. Ditto Stanton/Voit hitting behind Judge they struck out too much. Thank Beltran for the tip , bring him in as a coach and give Boner something to think about.

Yankees back to their bad habits at the plate. Swinging for a 5 run HR instead of making contact & moving
    the line.

It’s time to take Tanaka out of this game. His stuff sucks today. Cessa warming up
in the bullpen. No Rothschild. No Boner. No movement from Tanaka’s pitches &
    from the manager.
