CC needs to follow Lynn’s excellent outing. Wins are crucial to solidify the wildcard position.
Let’s face it. The No.1 wildcard is the focus this year.

Why are we not surprised, Ellsbury has been getting over like a big dog since our boy Brain Cashman signed him to his 7 and 153 mil. Pavano the 2nd has become Mr. Smellsbury. I cannot think of even one special game performance from the man since he signed. I'm ignorant as to where insurance comes into play on situations like this. Someone who knew money & finance much better than I once told me that in the business world ball players salaries were mere "chump change". I know that money for salaries comes from many sources but in cases like Ellsbury and his kind the fans also bear a portion of his non-productivity.

Question to Boner & Cashman: How come the Astros have 5 major players out and still winning? Guess they covered their what ifs. Apparently you guys filled in the Yankees with What the fucks>

Some things never change. When A. Garcia was a Tiger he hit Biggie well in Game 4 of the '12 ALCS. Tonight he gets a double to advance a runner who eventually scores. Come on Yankees three inning, no hits WTF is going on.

I'd like to see CC pitch a good 6 to 7 innings tonight.

I also read this on MLB.com:
Boone said Monday that J.A. Happ will likely come off the disabled list and start Thursday, and Happ threw a bullpen Tuesday in New York to prepare. Happ threw six innings of one-run ball in his only Yankees start before contracting hand, foot and mouth disease.

I was going to say before this game that I think this would be CCs last year in pinstripes.
I believe it is time to move on. Yes, new blood is necessary. How Trashman goes about achieving
an improved starting staff should interest us all. All I know is that it’s taking him an inchworm’s
    pace.

Biggie said he'd retire if the Yankees win it all. Tonight just let him keep his team in the game, damned offense is slaking again, 4 innings

Toronto takes 3-1 lead over Boston to the 8th. Boston then loads the bases, gets run two in, the Martinez hits a 33 run homer Boston up 5-3.

Offense has stop taking these ridiculous hiatuses. They all look like ‘deadwood’. Pathetic performance.

BTW, Boston is not on the Yankees’ radar. They need a win for self survival.

Unreal. Yankees again show they are masters of leaving runners on base with no outs, with one out, now
with two outs.....and still being shut out. Just horrendous.

How many times have I seen pitches thrown 50 feet in the dirt and Yankees cannot check their swings.
Pathetic bat discipline and a real reason for concern.

Meanwhile Boners Boys show their mettle by getting a runner to third with no outs. Stantons best pick up the team effort is an infield single. The next three hitters accomplish nothing. Gross incompetence.

I give C.C. credit in giving the team innings and keeping his team in the game. What more
could you ask. If the offense would produce CC would be pitching for a win!
