I think Yao Ming should sign with another team, after this season , he definitely will get the max contract. I hope Houston doesnt match but I know they will. The best scenario for them would be to trade Yao Ming. Possible scenarios

Yao Ming to Cleveland
Lebron James and two first round picks to Houston

Yao Mign and Mo Taylor to LA
Kobe Bryant and Caron Butler to Houston

Either way Yao will be able to go to a team where they have a good coach and dont have a selfish bum (T-Mac) . Its a shame Yao Ming needs more shots . He is the best player in the league and they dont use him. Yao should be getting 28 Points 12 Rebounds a game. He should be dominating. But Rockets are too darn stupid. I am going to laugh when Yao wins a championship all by himself.

YaoMing03-04, you need to give your team awhile before you start judging them. All teams must get used to playing together and that is what is happening now with the Houston Rockets. Plus the things you are saying aren't possible. The trades you are saying will never happen because NBA teams won't even think about doing that. You have already insisted that Yao and T-mac get traded. Why on earth would the Cavs give you Lebron. Not only do you want LeBron, you said the Rockets would get 2 first round picks as well! There is no way the Cavs would do this.

Second, The Lakers would not trade you Kobe and Butler for Yao Ming and Mo Taylor. The Lakers got rid of Shaq to keep Kobe so why would trade him for Yao?

Last but not least, you said Yao Ming is the best player in the league. That is extremely false. The best players in this league are KG, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki. Yao Ming is a star but he is not even close to KG and Duncan's level of play. Please give your team a chance before you keep making these crazy posts about trading all of your best players. None of the trades you come up with would go through. Give your team just one season before you start criticizing their every move.

Whoa...wait.

LeBron for Yao? The Cavs would be ignorant to do this. And...Kobe and Butler for Yao and Mo Taylor??? Yikes. I wouldn't trade Kobe for McGrady and Yao together.

Yao Ming isn't the problem, McGrady isn't the problem, and JVG isn't the problem. The problem is the entire team. No chemistry, no discipline, no will to win...Van Gundy isn't perfect, and neither are Yao and T-Mac. Nobody is consistent...it's just all falling apart since the departure of Mobley and Francis.

Things could pick up later on...or they may not...but when thinking of trades, at least think about the team on the other side of the deal. The Lakers wouldn't give Kobe away for anyone in the league, and the Cavs wouldn't trade off LeBron for anyone, either. Those trades are just crazy.

Honestly first of all the Yao to Clevland trade is one of the stupidist things I ever heard not just did you put Lebron a ohio native, who just became the quickest player ever to reach 2000 points you tossed in two future 1st rounders. Then you didnt even consider the cavs already have big z. Doesnt Yao become a free agent in 2006 anyway?

Then what makes you think that you would get Kobe from la with Caron Butler none the less. Houston already has Tmac signed for a while to a huge contract, why would they want Kobe as well when both play the same position, and probably would not be abl to co-exist looking each for there own shots. I find it funny how your name is Yaoming 03-04 and you blame all the Rockets struggles on Tmac being selfish. If Yao would demand the ball he would not get lost in the offense, but he is to quite, and just lets the game that its way. Have you noticed Yao has become the tallest and least effective player in the league at drawing a charge. To b honest though I do not think it is either Tmac, nor Yao's fault they need better role players. They have no one really running the point who is Tmacs back up on the team? You can not win without having good role players out there helping only one actually doing anythign in Houston other than Tmac and Yao is Jim Jackson and Mo Taylor at times. I think you need to calm down with these Yao should leave threads and Tmac is a bum threads you have come up with the past couple days, because lets say Houston goes on a 7 game win streak, and are well over .500 what will you be saying then?

Are you even a Houston Rocket's fan, or just a Yao fan that just hopped onto the bandwagon? None of those trades are possible, and I think Houston already signed or is signing an extension with Yao. McGrady isn't a "selfish bum". He is averaging about 5 assists per game and passes the ball to Yao alot, but Yao just doesn't go up strong or just gets the ball ripped out of him. In fact, McGrady would be averaging even more assists if Yao actually made those shots. How does Yao need more shots? The goal here is to be efficient and a good rebounder, something he isn't yet. Would you want Yao to be putting up 25 shots but making 2 of them? Give the Rockets time to build up their chemistry. With the addition of Sura, who is a great passer, swingman, and hustle player, there should be more wins coming on the way. Wait until the end of the season before you start talking about ludicrous trades and signings like this. Put faith in your team and place your trust in the players. Isn't that what a fan is?

You cant make these kind of judgements in the beging of the season. For all we know the Rockets could go on a tear and be the NBA champions by the time the season ends.Even though the Rockets have gotten off to an ok start you have to give them sometime to mesh as a team before you make stupid coments like this.

Besides the players you suggest for Yao are wayyyyyyy out of reach, and will never happen anytime soon.

This is not NBA Live. Trades arent that easy to make. All these trade ideas make no sense because they would never work. Yao is one of a kind a 7'6" center who is improving and with the lack of good big centers these days we need to keep em.

Besides the cavs would never trade LBJ, I mean this guy has the potential of maybe being better than MJ.

And as for the lakers. They want Kobe with Yao thats why there going to make a run at him when hes a free agent. But hopefully, and most likely the rockets will resign him.

These forums need a basketball knowledge test before you can register. Because these trade ideas are making me laugh. I know they're opinions but cmon.

First of all, what would the Cavs do with 2 All-star centers?
Second.. well second.. I don't know, you're just foolish.

You guys dont know basketball. If Yao goes to Cleveland he can Play the 5 and Drew the 4. Z will come of the bench. Thats arguably the greatest front curt of all tiem. Just Imagine the possiblities. And if Yao goes to LA, his star value will go up, he will become the most famous athlete in the world if he already is not.

But think, you must not know basketball. Why would Cleveland trade Lebron James when they already have a solid center in Z, better yet Bron is way much better and vaulble then Yao Ming is.

LA? You have got to be kidding me, Kobe is said to be the best player in the game and you think the Lakers will trade him for a center who isnt even devloped into his full potential yet. Grow up man! [IMG]

The entire ideal of Justbball.com is mature and intelligent conversation. Threads like this are in direct conflict with that entire idea ; arguing about possibility that will never happen.
