An NBA spokesman confirmed that Yi would not attend the four-day program, which will be held Tuesday through Friday of next week in New York.
"It just didn't work out," Bucks general manager Larry Harris said. "Our intent is to get him there next year." Harris said there "are certainly a number of scenarios" for Yi's arrival in Milwaukee, and that nothing has been determined yet. An arrival date around Oct. 3 is still a possibility, Harris said.

-- Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Being a international basketplayer means therewere lots of series of games waiting for them,of course Yi gonna get great a lot of opportunity to make his skill get toanther next level. But in anther hand it could bringssome extra hurt while being on a match.YI just like kind of snak, deadly to the equal so as to himself( YI is sort of a guy who easyly to get hurt him arm that was his weakest part) so i doubt that wheather Bucks take a overbid chance to pick such a first-round draft choice.

Yi continues to cause problems for Bucks management. I guess this is somewhat excusable due to his over-seas play but he definitely should not be missing any of training camp. However, Harris took the risk and now the Bucks have to pay the consequences.
