    Indiana has one hand on a Big Ten championship, and Yogi Ferrell is one win away from the kind of legacy-defining achievement he has sought for four years.

    Both earned as much Thursday night, in a sometimes-ugly but ultimately effective 74-47 win at the State Farm Center. The No. 18 Hoosiers (23-6, 13-3) outscored their hosts 47-19 in the second half, while Ferrell paced his team with 27 points and five assists.

    “I hope people see how valuable he is, not only in this league, but nationally, because he deserves it,” IU coach Tom Crean said of his senior point guard. “You can’t argue with the numbers, and you can’t argue with the record he’s put forth as a senior, and you can’t argue with the performances that he’s put together.”
