If Lundqvist wouldn't give up 3+ goals every fucking game.

Pathetic, embarrassing ending. Idiot behind the bench kept throwing Stepan out there to take defensive draws where he sucks.

Curious what you think of his 4.00 GAA over the last 4 games. How much confidence do you have in him/the Rangers against the Canadiens in light of their recent play?

Hank starts. If he stinks AV has a viable alternative in Raanta. Hank had Flyers in his grill the last few minutes, there is no reason for them to abandon the net in that situation. I agree about the face offs Step should have been moved to RW years ago but he is a great, not good passer and he's only 26. Right now Step's 54 points tie him with Shat ($5.2) , Schenn ($5,125) and Kesler ($7.88) at 55th.

    Lunqvist sucks :(

What kind of idiot would ever have confidence in Henrik Lundqvist. They should look into buying him out.

    Lunqvist sucks :(

If you don't think he is playing poorly right now I'm sure you don't understand what you are watching.

Your hope for Lundqvist as a fan is that he uses these final contests to sharpen his game and then once the playoffs start he's able to rise to the occasion. I don't understand what some people want from the guy. Like he's going out there saying yeah I really want to give up a bunch of goals tonight. What should we do? Hang him? Throw him off a building? Tar and feather him?

Chill out Prod. He wasn't acting tough. Guess you are having a tough week.

Simple fact is that the two backups in Talbot and Raanta have outplayed Lundqvist 2 out of the last 3 years and the other year was basically even. Not a good sign if you are hoping Lundqvist can take you on a deep run. I expect this team is 50/50 to win the first round. Probably about 10% any round after that. Team hasn't been built for the playoffs in quite some time.

If they are 50/50 in round 1 in your opinion, which I agree with BTW (tossup series against Montreal), they are better than 10% to win in round 2. Round 2 would be a lesser team like Ottawa, Toronto or Boston. The winner of the NYR/Habs series will be in the ECF I believe.

They're in panic mode in Ottawa. They better get a win tonight.

Yeah, TB could pass them and be the 8 seed and play the Caps. Still looks good the Atlantic will be NYR/Habs and two of Boston/Ottawa/Toronto (maybe Boston and Toronto the likely duo). Winners of each series play each other in round 2.

You didn't say he was playing well, and I'd like to point out that I didn't say he sucks. I said he is playing poorly giving up 3+ goals 4 games in a row. Not sure where you got the 'fake ass tough guy' sense from any of my posts. For the record, the only thing anyone can say I have been bitching about is the unbearable length of the regular season.

Assuming they beat MTL it would be nice, though no given, if they moved on to play either young TOR or slowish Boston.

Toronto, or Boston, or Ottawa would be an easier matchup than Montreal I believe. So that's why I'll stay with my thinking that the NYR/Montreal series winner will win in round 2 also, and will be in the ECF.

I'd rather avoid Ottawa over Bos/Tor. They are just as tough a matchup as Montreal imo. They will give Wash.all they can handle.
