I think I'll wait to see what's in the deal, and if it even happens, before I declare victory. All that's been announced is that some tariffs won't go into effect, and they'll buy some farm products. That was the status quo before the trade war, so I'm not sure I see where the 'win' is. If you hit yourself with a hammer for months and finally stop, should we praise your decision-making? barfo
Presidents that I supported in the past have not been able to address the trade imbalance with China and have never even tried to get them to negotiate something more equitable and fair. I don't give a crap if its Trump or Bernie or Klobachar or Pete if we can get a more level playing field down the road great!
Sounds like another trump nothingburger as it's mainly just a compromise and not imposing more tariffs on each other. trump should write a new book called "Art of the Compromise"
