MLS' Generation adidas players and graduates are taking their annual post-season trip to Spain. FC Dallas' Schellas Hyndman is the coach. They'll be playing the reserve sides of Real Madrid (Thurs. 12/2), Rayo Vallecano (Tue. 12/7), and Atletico Madrid (Wed 12/8).

    Here's the highly illogical roster:

    G:
    Stefan Frei - Toronto
    Sean Johnson - Chicago
    D:
    Jeremy Hall - Portland
    Ike Opara - San Jose
    M:
    Corben Bone - Chicago
    Danny Cruz - Houston
    Dilly Duka - Columbus
    Luis Gil - Salt Lake
    Baggio Husidic - Chicago
    Amobi Okugo - Philadelphia
    Brek Shea - Dallas
    Tony Tchani - New York
    F:
    Juan Agudelo - New York
    Tristan Bowen - Los Angeles
    Teal Bunbury - Kansas City
    Peri Marosevic - Dallas
    Jack McInerney - Philadelphia
    Danny Mwanga - Philadelphia
    Andrew Wiedeman - Dallas

For the record, Hall has primarily been an attacking wing player in his seasons with the Red Bulls. Shea will probably see time at left back with Hall at right back. Okugo, Tchani, and Bone are defensive midfielders, so they are likely to rotate through the spot next to Opara. Wiedman and Mwanga are likely to see time on the wings as there are many options at forward.

Of course, Hyndman could just say fuck it and bust out a 2-3-5 formation like the good ol' days.

Private Hall from Band of Brothers? He dies.

That's probably how he'll feel after playing right back in Spain for three matches.
