well i think ive got the best local team here its called Nelson FC, you wont know them now, but they were the first english team to beat real madrid at the bernabau. not whoever it was the other year. we also was in the old premiership, division one, mind you they got relegated in their first season their, but they were still their and still beat real madrid more edits, one of our players went on to manage liverpool, joe fagan apparently

it was leyland motors but they went bust and the F.A bought the pitch and lease it out to bolton wanderers for the reserves and youth teams so the next team closest to me is preston north end.

my local team is chesterfield i live litterally 2 mins from the ground. ive only lived in chesterfield for 5 years but always keep an eye on them to see how they are doing.unfortunately they got relegated this season into the championship league division 2 but hopefully there will be better times soon. there are plans to build a new stadium which would be really nice and it might be ready for the 2008/2009 season.
