The Memphis media has been talking about how bad of a hire this would be. The opposing Big-10 coaches hate him and from the things I have heard and read he sounds basically like a complete douche. I don't follow the Big 12 as much as other people. Drew has been described as: 1) A phony. 2) A man who has never met a recruiting rule he couldn't bend. 3) A lousy bench coach. Sounds like a poor man's John Calipari, a VERY poor man's John Calipari. People say he seems like a nice guy at first impression, but he isn't as nice as he seems. A undisclosed D-1 coach said, "Do they KNOW Scott Drew?" when he heard that R.C Johnson was going after Drew. An assistant coach in the SEC simply said, "WOW" through a text message and a national television commentator said, "WHAT?!" in a phone call. If R.C. Johnson doesn't get a big name coach I wouldn't be surprised to see him fired after this basketball season. We HAVE to go after Reggie Theus!
