Re: You're Getting A Good Player Out Of Craig Smith yuphe went to Boston College which was my favorite college...this guy was my favorite player since he came from high school...he has a lot of experience because he played all his years of high school...and he's able to change the pace of the game and dominate in the rebound categorylast year he averaged 17.5 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game as a power forwardbut i dont see him playing power forward at minnesota obviously because you have KG and he isn't tall enough to play the 4his only problem is he isnt tall enough to play the 4 and he is too tall to play the 3but if you guys can find a role for this guy..your team will have a lot of success..minnesota has been takin a lot of our boston guys :nasty:

Re: You're Getting A Good Player Out Of Craig Smith preseason doesn't really mean anything but those are pretty good stats considering the small amount of time he played in the two games. I like the rebounding though, 6 boards in 15 min and 5 boards in 19 min. seems solid from stats but I havent seen him in action yet

Re: You're Getting A Good Player Out Of Craig Smith He will end up being a steal, for some reason he fell in the draft. The Bucks were going to take him with their 2nd round pick if he fell to them. He's going to be a solid backup for KG, it was one of the more underrated picks if your talking about second round steals.
Re: You're Getting A Good Player Out Of Craig Smith yeah I just saw him in the preseason game against the bulls on wednesday. he was a beast going after offensive boards, he was just going after everything, he had quite a few good post up moves on the bulls big men. I dont think he ever took a jump shot in the game though so I dont know how he is at shooting the ball

Anyway, back on topic, Smith is going to be a solid player in this league. He's about 6'7''-6'8'', very athletic, an absolute animal, he's tough, and he's a good kid. I think the Wolves made a real good pick.
Re: You're Getting A Good Player Out Of Craig Smith I haven't seen much of Smith in the preseason games, as they don't televise the games in Minnesota, but judging by his statlines he seems to be adjusting quite well to the NBA game. I did however get to see him at the NCAA regionals in Minneapolis along with Randy Foye and he really impressed me. He uses his bulk very effectively in the post.
