<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">With one month left until their first game, the Charlotte Bobcats have sold about 9,000 season tickets, two informed sources confirmed Tuesday.

That number is roughly half the season tickets the Hornets sold here in their most popular seasons. But it's also in the top half of season-ticket sales in the NBA, the sources said.

About half that 9,000 is made up of former Hornets season-ticket holders who reserved their Bobcats seats before they went on sale to the general public a year ago. Bobcats officials have declined to reveal their season-ticket sales over the past year.

The Bobcats open their first training camp next week in Fort Mill and open their first regular season Nov. 4 at the Charlotte Coliseum against the Washington Wizards.</div>
