Welcome to the board roselee_a.

The only time I saw Zidane play live was his famous heat butt incident, otherwise I look for all these clips. He's rather fun to watch, even the progression or lack of hair. Thanks.

He is a legend. I wish he had stayed a year.

I watched when he (and france) won the World cup in 98. (i was in my country back then) And then the euro 2000. (i watched it here in the US)

I always root for france now even though germany is my favorite team.

I agree that Zidane is an amazing player, one of my favorite guys to watch during the World Cup.

Why is it a shame he never played in England?

Anyway, he's the God of football, period. The man is a genius with the ball, not quick, but the most precise.

He was the greatest player of his era. I misswatching him play.

You can argue that it is, but the rest are not far behind. A lot argue that the spanish league is the best, some say italian. They're all top leagues in my eyes, each top team from those leagues can beat the other top one.

It's not like comparing nba for example to the league that germany has, or italy, where nba is 10 times better.

Not according to FIFA rankings on competitive levels, which ranks Spain at #1. I particularly don't enjoy Prem football, it is boring as hell. Honestly, the Championship is way better.

Ay, don't take any offense to that. I'd just like to see something new each season instead of the same old same. Right now Man City are making things a bit interesting, but other then that I've been disappointed with Prem football for years. I prefer La Liga where even the lower seeded clubs can destroy top clubs from other countries, just as it is with Serie A, only the Italian leagueis finally taking a step forward after two terrible years.

Nah The Premier league has the most exciting games between the big 4. Take Arsenal vs Man Utd last season. Arsenal went one nil down in abut the 65th minute. In the 84th minute Van persie Equallised and then in the 93rd minute Henry snatched victory. Never forget that match

Did you watch Real Madrid vs Villareal? That was probably the most exciting game of the year for me (in 07 so far).

So each league has games that are memorable but you can't say this league is better than the other one. Milan are the champs for example. Year ago it was Liverpool and so on.

Yeah exactly, no league is technically better then the other. I just find some more entertaining then others. For instance I also enjoy the Swiss Axpo. However, for those that kept writing that one is better then the other I can't agree. FIFA has their rankings and when you look at the competitiveness of the lower seed clubs of Spain and Italy you can't argue with them.

Yeah, among others bro, want to know the others I support? Note that Lazio are playing against Empoli this Saturday on FSC.

How about you? What clubs or club do you support aside from Bayern München?

BTW, shouldn't we take this to PM or another thread?
