Dallas Morning News columnist Tim Cowlishaw (registration required): "If the Mavs end up with Mourning or Malone, that's not a bad thing at all. But Pippen represents an even greater chance to improve. Put him in the lineup spot often occupied by Raja Bell or Eddie Najera, and suddenly Raef LaFrentz and Dirk Nowitzki aren't as great a liability on defense."
Interesting thought.. although Pip may be getting a little slower... he still can guard PG/SG/SF and maybe some of the smaller PF's... But will he fit in the Zone defense Don Nelson likes to play?
Dooooooooooooooooooont ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Dooooooooooooooooooont ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dont do it with the Mavs, you would make me really sad I think Pippen is the better option for the Mavs if he?s to lame to go to the Mavs, I think Malone would enjoy playing with Dirk.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "allnet":</div><div class="quote_post">Pippen is suppose to be retiring...</div> no. he said he wants to try and play 3 more seasons. anyways, i want pippen to come back to the bulls
zo would be the defensive presence and rebounder that the mavs need to get to the next level...but can he keep up with the high octane offence they run? would raef play the 4 and dirk the 3? or raef off the bench at center, dirk at the 4 and raja/eduardo at the 3? or what do yall figure?

i know. but i dunno what they're gonna do about him if they end up keeping him. they should get rid of shawn bradley
