The Englishman's fate rests in the balance after the second round was suspended due to bad light, with the projected cut standing at two under.

Winner's bag: Brian Stuard, Zurich Classic of New Orleans

Athough it took five days to play three rounds (plus a little overtime), Brian Stuard notched his first PGA Tour win at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans thanks to some superb work on the greens. In addition to making all 40 of his attempts inside 10 feet, Stuard led the field at 2.849 in strokes gained/putting. Stuard used an Odyssey Works Marxman Fang Tank counterbalanced putter, a club he first put in play last week at the Valero Texas Open. In a nod to the fickleness some players can have with the putter, Stuard did not endure extensive testing, but rather simply pulled the club from the demo bag by the practice green in Texas, rolled a few putts with it and decided to put it in play. The putter is 35 inches in length.
