In an all-NBA draft, you'll be really good in a couple of years. Too bad we have this draft every year and so really we should judge these on how they do this year, so fail.
Age does matter, but obviously your team is built to win in the future. Newayz, I originaly thought we are going to vote for the team people think are most likely going to win a championship this year, but it seems like people are just building teams with different purposes and aims.
Age matters in the long-term. In terms of injuries and stamina, you can field a team of 30 year olds no problem.
DELFINO went to russia or something... thats y i passed on him and PARGO... cuz they went to international teams :/
and you got stephon marbury as a point, doesnt that say enough?? and the 2 guys that back him up one has never played a nba game in his life and the other nobody knows if he retiring yet. OOh ad you got JO at pf, and you call out my pf for being a black hole?!
lol Since when has Marbury not been a good point? Umm....Eric Gordon is a complete stud and will be facing back-ups, while Sergio Rodriguez is a change of pace guy that HAS played a game in his life As a matter of a fact he played 67 as a rookie & 72 this last year. His games must start pass your bedtime or something sense he's a great playmaker & you obvious don't know about him. JO at least tries to play D man, May & Randolph are both matador defenders and chuck up shots on the offensive end. JO averages 2 blocks a game, and has never played with a playmaker like LeBron. O'Neal has also proven he can get a team to the playoffs unlike Randolph, so I think my PF spot is pretty solid compared to Z-Bo & May. You also have Melo & Redd, 2 other guys that will look for their shot first, while Hinrich is no playmaker, he's a shooter PG, so he won't do much if he doesn't get the ball. So there will be very little ball movement with the personnel you have.
He has never been a good NBA PG. He was the PG every team wanted to see on the opponent. He put up some pretty stats, made teams worse and continually wore out his welcome pretty damn fast.
Marbury is pretty bad. Sergio, on the other hand, is extremely entertaining to watch. I'll at least give him that.
However, Portland really wanted DJ Augustin because they said he was better than any of their current point guards.
Portland is always draft happy, that's all Sergio Rodriguez is the real deal if he was on an uptempo team.
oh wow how did you know? Mommy sends me 2 bed right before Portland games, yes i have heard of sergio before i was gonna take him but then you did, and all the sudden JO is good at D because he averages 2 blocks?? big deal, and i don't get this stuff about Z Bo that he's not gonna help a winning team. WE play sports to win don't we? If hes the second or third string on a team I think he will do just fine. Ball movement might be a problem for my team but I don't see it as a huge issue I mean with different line ups my team can be very effective. And you really wanna argue Marburys that much better a play maker then Hinrich and that hes a good starting point for a team that wants to be successful in the nba??
I think we should have multiple awards. "Win now team" and "Win future team" are two suggestions. Maybe "Was Isaiah GM of this team?" too.
I was just showing that JO is better than Z-Bo since you were attacking him. Z-Bo isn't a good team player, that's why his teams don't win, it's that simple. The problem is that he won't settle to be the second or third guy on a team cuz he's selfish, so it's gonna be a feud for shots between him, Melo, & Redd. The problem is that my playmaker is LeBron, so Marbury has a different role than Hinrich. Marbury is the compliment scorer to go with LeBron, he's the scoring PG that would compliment LeBron nice. LeBron is practically a PG, so I don't need Marbury dishing it out, just scoring.
