I saw probably about 7-10 of his games this last year with FSN package cuz they don't blackout college hoops like they do with other sports. I'm a college hoops nut, so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about with these younger guys. Summer league don't mean much either, he looks like crap & was non-existent in some of the games too during summer league. In the 11th round, it's an ok pick, not trying to say it was bad but it's nothing special either.
That's funny because FSN doesn't televise any MAAC games, and Rider only had 5 televised games all of last year. 4 on ESPN2 (2 from the Disney tourney, one random game, and the championship game) and 1 on the MSG Channel (a local channel). So now I KNOW you are talking out of your ass. Thanks!
Team 1: PG: D.Harris/Lowry SG: K.Azubuike/M.Carrol/H.Adams SF: R.Gay/C.J.Miles PF: A.Horford/J.Maxiell/I.Diogu C: D.Milicic/R.Turiaf
PG: Jason Terry/Javaris Crittenton SG: Kyle Korver/Aaron Afflalo/Devin Brown SF: Rashard Lewis/Andres Nocioni/Jarvis Hayes PF: Carlos Boozer/Sean Williams C: Marcus Camby/Robin Lopez Roster is done. Please critique. Was wondering if I should start Afflalo or Brown over Korver and bring Korver off the bench. Any thoughts?
Your lack of a PG hurts you, especially with Boozer as your centerpiece. I'd start Crittenton and Terry and hope they can break down the defense and get Boozer some room down low. Crittenton should also help with defensive matchups because he can guard twos.
C: Joakim Noah/Steven Hunter/Oleksiy Pecherov PF: Josh Smith / Chuck Hayes SF: Andrei Kirilenko / Renaldo Balkman SG: Monta Ellis / Nick Young PG: Leandro Barbosa/Jacque Vaughn Thoughts?
I don't think Korver can play SG but Rashard can play PF, I would go small. I know having Camby off the bench seems like a waste but this line-up would score in bunches, defense is going to be a problem anyway so might as well score the other team off the floor. Crittenton, Terry, Krover, Lewis, Boozer.
If anyone has a better big three than G. Wallace, Paul Pierce and Amare please stand up because I looked at all rosters and they are the best big 3 in the league. My bench is also ridiculous, my team is so over looked
every team in the nba would trade artest for wallace in a heart beat. Wallace is not just a fantasy stud, hes a good defender and a tough player. Does Artest help his team win? He has a bad attitude and when was the last time he made the playoffs? Pierce is also a lot better than SJax offensively and defensively. Pierce is a better leader and Sjax comes with a lot of baggage also. KG and Amare I know you will say KG is better but I stand by Amare. He is much younger and is such a good scorer and very clutch. KG showed a lot of signs of wear and tear last year and Amare is just getting started.
Does Wallace help his team win? Stupid argument. Artest isn't tough? Come on now, you sound ridiculous. I agree with you that Pierce is better than SJax in both facets of the game, there is no argument there. And what kind of baggage does SJAx carry? In these past two years, SJax has proven to be a capable leader and has been fairly consistent at doing what he does best, which is score. In my opinion, KG and Amare, RIGHT NOW, are equal. Not to disagree with you, but I want proof of when Amare has been clutch. I'm just curious, not disagreeing.
Guess you missed Artest in the playoffs with the Kings. Anyhow, SJax is better than Wallace and Wallace is strictly a fantasy stud. First, PP is not better than SJax on defense. However, you again have the wrong comparison. PP is significantly worse on defense than Artest and since PP won't be your primary offensive weapon, his effectiveness is reduced here. PP doesn't do well as the second fiddle on offense. Obviously you know nothing about me. Amare > KG PP ~ Artest SJax >>> Wallace
PP is not my sf hes my sg. if artest is your sg thats not good so I think I do have the right comparisons. SJax is really not that good. Last year was his first year over 20 pts a game but he only shot.405. He takes a lot of bricks, Monta Ellis should a gotten much more shots but Jackson just chucked up his bricks. Stephen Jackson's offensive game is one of the most overrated things in the NBA. He plays the same offensive game as Jamal Crawford 20 pts but 17-18 shots a game. Where does he get this reputation for being a good defender? He plays on a team that doesn't play any defense. Jackson is a gambler but is a inconsistent defender. Hes a defender but nothing special. PP is = to Artest thats just ridiculous. Did you see how Pierce played all season and how he defended Kobe in the biggest games? He also doesn't come with the headaches
lol You sure man? Cuz I had some NY channel that showed Siena, St Peter's, & Rider last year. I had some sports package from Dish Network that gave me tons of local channels from these random places. I definitely saw all the ones he had on ESPN & ESPNU, then I saw conference tourney games.
I saw all three games of Rider in the preseason man, ESPN2 & ESPNU, bracketbuster weekend was the other game, then their conference championship, that's 5 right there bud.....MSG also showed both the 2 games b4 their conference tourney, here's a link. That's 7, count them 7, and then I saw them play Old Dominion on the FSN that showed CAA games. That's 8 games that I can say I watched.....what was that thing about someone talking out of their ass again?
