ugh but I start to hate my options after a while and second guess my team. It's my nature I guess. anyone up for an all-era draft latter on? I LOVE doing them, you really learn more about previous era's etc. of course most young guys just harp on the 'athleticism' of today's players yadda, yadda, forgetting about how different older players would perform with today's better training, travel and medical treatment. Or the fact that half the guys from the 60's and 70's would give you an sharp elbow in the face or ribcage and no whistles would blow. still it's fun to read up on older players while making your list
I should've added: "related to NBA basketball" if you really want to go off-topic from basketball, I suggest an ALL-Pokemon draft in the off-topic forum. Their basic levels....hehehe
ummm, I was in my 20's when that stuff came out. now axis & allies, well I'll blitzkrieg your butt anytime.. and you have Zero chance vs me in Age of Empires II
last time i did a basketball draft where you were allowed to pick any players, past or present, i was kicked out for taking ann meyers and the professor with back to back picks.
HAHAHA Classy, good man And, whoever called Charizard...you'd have to call Charmander first, because we need to talk about the youth and how they'll get better....like in this draft
It looks like the draft is slowing down, so I'm just going to take my 12th round ceremonial pick with my 9th round pick.
This draft actually moves really fast lol...I mean we can probably catch up with the first draft but are you picking Ad_n_l F_yl_e??
we have slowed down. The last 3 sunday mornings, I've had a pm (or 4) telling me it was my pick. then on Sunday I'd get my 2 picks in and wait a week
I deleted that post I accidentally made in the selection thread. What I said was that Etan Thomas at the end of the eighth round seems pretty decent to me.
That happens sometimes when you have a draft that started a while before this one, and people look at that draft for players to pick in this one.
