    They are mediocre teams he is just playing them down so that when France win it will seem like they played to the best of their ability.

    This is France we're talking about here. Two WC's ago they didn't even get out of the groups stages, last WC they got to the final - We can never tell what's going to happen.

    Its a rollercoaster, but they seem to have stabalised since that shamefull exit in the wc.

    He doesn't. He has said it time-and-time again. A few years back there was a big fear that he was gonna join the French post.
