    Finished. Comments?

Somewhere between 10 and 15. Which is good IMO.

Formations using sweepers are often easy to read and break.

Well, he's past his prime, but he still has one of the best free kicks out there. I'd rank him in the late 30's.

These are tangential questions based upon the above:

Does Bayern München dominate their league?

How close is Fiat to buying Juventus back into a top reputation?

I'd say so. 6 domestic titles since 2000 is quite big. Bayern München have won 21 domestic league titles total.

Fiat pay Juventus €30m + and a commission based on the club's performances at home and at the continental level. I think that's quite a huge contract to help things along. Also note that Juventus are the most successful football club in the World based on their history.

How good is Freddy Adu now? What about Landan Donavon?

I use to work for a Fiat owned company and have traveled to Torino for business so I heard quite a bit about their arrangements, both official and unofficial, and their history.

I just hadn't followed up on them since the match fixing scandal.

Freddy Adu is ok, he's still coming along nicely and will have better opportunities to become a star player by playing overseas. Landon Donovan is overrated over here. He's a decent player, but he's nothing that special in my opinion.

That's awesome. My wife is familiar with the company. Off-topic for a sec here, but I'm wondering from your point of view if the brand makes good cars. I'd like to know because we plan to move to Europe in a few years.

Back on topic though, the Calciopoli was pretty bad for Juve after they dropped to Serie B, but their fan base hasn't declined much if at all considering how large it is. They still have one of the largest television rights deals in football.

Tim Howard is the only American worth discussing in terms of top ten in the world.

As for the cars, all of the people I was around in Torino that had company cars drove Lancia's because they were more luxurious and they all seemed pleased with their cars. The company I worked for didn't produce autos so I don't know much about their quality. Plus, that was honestly a pretty miserable period in my career so if did know anything, it probably would be tainted.

How close is Juve to becoming a top team again?

Juve are pretty close to becoming a top club again. They have legendary vets like Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedvěd teamed with great young players like Giorgio Chiellini, Domenico Criscito and Sebastian Giovinco. Plus, the best goalkeeper in the World, Gigi Buffon.

It's difficult to say; his free kick, corner and crossing ability is still probably second-to-none, but he's lost the little pace he had so is often unable to do much else. His aforementioned abilities certainly help out his ranking, but I would say he's not in the top 3 English right midfielders, so he probably ranks outside the top 20 or 30.

M Two, I just can't agree that Barbatov ranks up with the best forwards and Rooney doesn't, lol. For the reasons I mentioned above :D

Ashley Young if considered MR, but I would say he's more of a left-sided player
    Bentley

So Beckham is either 3rd or 4th depending on where Young plays, IMO. And he's pretty close with Aaron Lennon for that spot too.

Oh yeah completely forgot about Bentley. He's probably our best Right Midfielder in Fact.

Right midfielders for me: (no order)

    David Silva
    Quaresma
    Hleb
    Jonathan De Guzman
    SWP

    Serioulsy, I cannot think.

On another note, I think that Arsenal may have the best defense soon.

Berbatov made the list because he finishes up my ten strikers. The other five are either SS or WF and Rooney didn't make it over the other five I listed.

Very good list M21. But i must ask: Why isn't Adebayor in that list whereas Torres is? I admit Torres is he better to watch but they are around the same age give or take a couple years and Adebayor scored more then Torres last season.

Adebayor is a great player, but he would be nothing without the balls he gets from the midfield. Don't get me wrong, nine out of ten times he will slot the ball past the 'keeper, but he's a bit clumsy. I would not put him on my top either, perhaps in a few years time.

Beat me to it. Although in a few years time it is unlikely that he will be any better since most strikers peak early. Don't get wrong, he's a good player. In any case, I noticed that the club with the most players on my list went to Bayern München and I am in no way a supporter of the club.
