My favorite exchange in the interview. He takes responsibility for being out of shape then blames the coach for not getting minutes. Tip: Hey Marcus next time you see you aren't getting a lot of minutes maybe you should try working out. Hell maybe you should do that anyway since your a paid professional athlete!!!
of course, the only way to get into shape for playing basketball is to be playing basketball. No other way you could stay in shape besides that.
Marcus was in a difficult situation for him. It's obvious that he has trouble motivating himself (as do most of us, so that by itself isn't really worthy of criticism), but combined with Kidd's nonexistent leadership skills, it was disastrous. If Kidd had any interest in mentoring Marcus, things could have been a little different. Again, I'm sure that Marcus will put up fine stats in leading his team to a mediocre record.
I can't believe it's been two years and three months since everyone was going nuts that this guy fell. What an unbelievable letdown. And LMAO at his comment. I wonder he's that dumb to not realize that when he was drafted that he was going to be playing behind Jason Kidd.
