Which side has the problem at the top of the ticket? I'm just pointing that out Ultimately, Palin's energized the base, driving up campaign donations to maybe keep up with Obama, and when she campaigns together with McCain the crowds are big. Oh yeah, while one side is busy attacking the #2 on the other ticket, the other is attacking the #1.
I, personally, don't value "experience" (aka years in DC) like John McCain would like me to. I vote on the issues, and what I think is best for the country. I don't think I'm alone because DC experience was also a talking point against W, Clinton, Reagan, etc.. Agreed. Like I mentioned in the OP, she has the power to win or lose the election for McCain depending on how she handles herself the next two months. Also depending on whether or not skeletons come out of her closet. Biden is pretty much a non-factor when compared to Palin. This is the exact reason why Obama/Biden is now in the rear. It appears as though the campaign has recognized their mistake and has regained focus this week.

That wolves one is dirty propaganda. Karl Rove said today that McCain took it too far in his ads. Although that's all I could find on it, so I don't think he expanded on that thought. When the king of dirty campaigning thinks you are too dirty, you have a problem.
