I know all you Blazer fans might say "We only like Blazer ball" but this guy makes amazing previews and is always updating high school and college ball players. It's good to know who you think you want the Blazers to draft and up and coming young players. For real, check it out.

I don't like to talk just "Blazer Ball". In fact, I have two favorite teams: The Blazers and whoever is playing the L*kers. ;)

Thanks for the heads up on the forum.

I don't mean to generalize, but what I've read, most of you stick only to Blazer ball, but that's probably just me. I think all of you are ball fans in general, and if you are, this shit is good stuff. It's better than any ESPN or scouting site, simply because BasX puts it all together so it's really easy for you to access. But yea, no problem. Tell your buddies to check it out.

Several of us have only been around for a few days. Mostly I'm sticking around here for the short-term just to help this place get going. After it gets better established, I'll be taking a look around. I popped into the Redskins forum, but that place looks dead.

Thanks will check it out. I'm a huge Blazer and Oregon Duck basketball and football fan. Outside of the Blazers I'm more interested in college sports then any other professional sport. I do keep a close eye on our recruiting for the Duck basketball and football teams.

S2 is only 18 months old. It's hard to build out a comprehensive sports site of robust communities in short order...

The good news is that when basketball news is slow, like the past month+, we do offer all kinds of other areas and activities to bide our time.

Hey, you want to talk Redskins football, let's do it.

    I'll be there every day.

    Go Cowboys.

Dan Snyder is doing an excellent job crushing our hopes and dreams. I honestly believe he is Jerry Jones' illegitimate son sent as a deep cover agent to ruin my team.

Not much to talk about. We're going to be fourth in the NFC East and you're going to be in the playoffs.

    Dan Snyder has to go.

You can play guess how many millions of Snyder's money it will take to hire Bill Cowher?

That's exactly my supposition as to why Jim Zorn was hired. He has one year before Snyder offers Cowher $40MM for five years. Yep, there's basically an extra $3MM Synder has to pay annually just to have someone work for him. I call it the Douchebag Tax.

lol, awkward convos, but shake is right, i do take all 3 major sites, put their information together and punch out a rating and information for you. we recently moved to new technology so I'm still trying to get ideas to run together but so far, it has been positive reviews

Were you rooting for the Celtics during the finals?

I was thinking about starting a thread here asking the Blazer fans how they felt when the Celtics won, etc. (also where would you rank them as a top team during different eras)

I wasn't so much rooting for the Celtics as I was rooting against the Lakers. But yes, I derived an enormous sense of satisfaction from watching the Celts come back from 24 down to win at Staples (a Framingham-based company if I recall) and then blowing them out by the largest margin in NBA Finals history. My favorite Kobe is a quitting and crying Kobe.

So BasX . . . what is your take on Neil Lomax's kid. I saw his team didn't even make the top 100 high school football teams. Strange because they telivised one of his games nationally.

Is he going to make the jump to college level quarterback?
