hey sup guys From what I can tell, most people on BBF just signed up on here... so what's going to be difference between here and BBF once the season starts? When I check one forum, why should I check the other?
Just check this one. The other place is clearly out of order and has gotten too big for their britches. I'm on several boards at once....this will be my "fast news" board.
Welcome to S2. Check out the sticky thread in the Blazers forum with info about S2 and judge for yourself. What I didn't mention in that thread is that the site is really fast
*shrug* Why check any of them? That's what my wife always asks me. I always say, "Hey, it's not porn!" Probably doesn't answer your question, though. How about, "Because lots of Blazer fans write really well in one of them. Especially mook." I went where the better writers are. The lack of condescending attitude here by mods I've never heard of before, the lack of ads and the ability to swear are all bonuses. But I'll happily pick up and move on down the road again if that's where everybody wants to go.

Good call. I didn't realize so many had picked up stakes and moved here...as recently as this morning, Ed O and mook were posting on BBF, so I had no inkling anything was different. In the afternoon, though, someone told me mook and Ed O were "gone" from BBF. And mook and Ed O are the bellwethers. The Romans knew it. The Carthaginians knew it. And I know it. It was time to make a move. So I did.
I hope he finds his way over here. Of course, there's the distinct possibility that with political threads banned there, he's gone catatonic.
That's weird. That's the second time Carthaginians has come up in my life in the last 2 hours (the other time was in a "normal", spoken conversation). barfo

I don't care about qualifications, like post counts and length of service. I care about intelligence, logic and level-headedness.
I actually said quite nice things about you after you were banned. I thought you were a good part of the political discussions. I think you'd have made a fine mod. You and Ed O were the best right-leaning posters, I thought.
huh. I like the sound of bellwether. I imagine a bellwether looks much more relaxed and in control than, say, a large rodent madly scrambling away from a submerging boat. Any time I get mentioned with Ed and Minstrel I blush a little. It's sort of like when DaRizzle got lumped in with Talkhard and yega in another thread, only the exact opposite. Seriously, though, somebody pointed out to me that Ed left earlier today and I figured if this board was good enough for him to condescend to, it was probably adequate for me. So Ed is the real bellwether. We're all just small wet rats shaking ourselves off as we stand upon his bellwethering giantness.* *Wow, I think I just overloaded metaphor thing.
