for now i would expect bayless to be more of a jason terry type player(though i expect bayless to be more aggressive attacking the basket than terry) than any of the star pgs in the league.
LOL! Oden is being a little under-rated by most outside of Portland. With good cause since that knee injury is a little scary, but if he plays 75 games he's gonna be a monster. The best thing I like about the addition of Rudy and Bayless is that Roy will be able to save himself for crunch time, and when he's not hot, Rudy or Bayless won't be shy about going for the kill. I love Roy, but he's not built to be a 45 mpg stud like Lebron or Kobe. Bayless and Fernandez will keep Roy fresh for those precious moments when we really need him.
Beards like that are once in a generation. No shame in him not being able to attain that level of beard.
Don't forget about Batum. He wont make an impact this year but in three years he'll be our starting SF, IMO.
Excellent post. I agree completely about Brandon. He's the leader of this team and his only weakness is his durability. If we can limit him to 35 minutes per game without much dropoff when he's out we will be very difficult to beat.
