Granted, it is only week 2, but there has been some really bad football played so far. Do you think any NFL coaches are going to get fired during this season?

    If so, who?

Linehan, Kiffin, Lewis, Nolan are likely gone....Norv Turner, Mangini, Childress, Marinelli are all possibilities if their teams underachieve enough....

Rod Marinelli is a good coach with shitty talent around him, imo.

Norv isn't going anywhere in SD. AJ Smith likes him a lot, from what I've heard on the radio.

I don't think Nolan will be gone. I think SF is going to be a decent team this year. They need to get a steady OC in there, and with Martz, they might have done that.

I believe no one will get fired. I don't know why but it's a gut feeling. If Kiffen does get the boot, the Raiders will be back at square one with their new coach. You gotta give them some time.

If we get a new GM (PLEASE GOD PLEASE) , I think Rod will be gone so the new GM can bring in his guy.

    Hey, how's it going?

I feel so sorry for Lions fans.... Millen is a disaster. Anyway, you want to move Roy Williams to Texas?

    Pretty please.

Linehan, Nolan, and Kiffin. I think Kiffin's got a chance to be a good coach, just stuck with an owner who's nuts.

Crennel's a possibility with all those expectations, despite getting resigned last yr. Same for Childress. And I think the Bengals will retain Lewis. They'll just blow it up.

If Kiffin keeps his job, I'd be shocked. For some reason, regardless of how well they do, I think Wade Phillips could be out after this year as well. They're basically grooming Jason Garrett to be their next head coach, and for some reason, I see that happening sooner rather than later.

Also, if the Bears have another horrible season, which based on their offense they could, I think Lovie could be out of a job. Herm Edwards is another guy I'd look at as well, same with Marvin Lewis. If the Vikes don't make the playoffs, Childress is another guy that could go too.

Dunno about Wade. I think Jones will pay whatever is necessary to keep Garrett in Dallas. And I think Garrett is perfectly content in waiting for that job (albeit, content for now... maybe not so in 5 years... but Wade won't be here that long anyway).

I think Lovie isn't going anywhere in Chicago. He's safe. He's also a good coach.

I never denied that Lovie wasn't a good coach - he certainly is, anybody that can get a team to 13-3 with Rex Grossman as their QB is doing a good job. I'm just saying that if he has a repeat of last season, he could be in jeaopardy.

Well Kiffin and Linehan are both out. I think Edwards and Marinelli are on the hot seat out of the rest.

Any one think Bill Cowher will return to head coaching anytime soon?

I don't believe he can get the type of money he wants coming in mid-season. Also, it appears he is enjoying the chance to spend some time with his daughters.

Yeah, I Should have been plainer lol. I meant after this season. Who knows tha Raiders or Rums or other team, could always use an interim coach until the end of the yr and then go after BC. :dunno:
