    QUit cherry-picking. Thinking Oden could be a HOFer without thinking he could fail is not a well-rounded nor thought out post. Go back to forum school.

    Oden is soooo over hyped. He isn't going to be as good as any of those guys mentioned above.

    We will have to see but those are some great centers to compare Oden to. I get tired of everyone except the Blazer fans saying Oden is overrated. We will see and outside of a couple teams I would take Oden over any of their centers without ever seeing a game from Oden in the NBA and I think most of them would also. :clap:

    Shaq's freshman year at LSU: 13.9 PPG, 12.0 RPG, 3.6 BPG
    Oden's freshman year at OSU: 15.7 PPG, 9.6 RPG, 3.3 BPG
    I'm not suggesting the competition was equivalent.

    Shaq's sophomore year at LSU: 27.6 PPG, 14.7 RPG, 5 BPG

    A good defensive and offensive center is hard to come by, so of course teams would want a guy like Oden.
