So Tom Cable is now the head coach? Any guess on how long it will take before Cable gets the axe? I honestly thought Kiffin was doing a respectable job with the Raiders, at least they were somewhat competitive so far this season (besides the first game). I read the players respected him a lot as well. So what's up, are the Raiders going to fire and hire a new coach every single season? That's a great way to build up a team! :]
Not sure who is entirely to blame for this. Perhaps ROTR or some other Raider fan can chime in. I suspect Kiffin isn't the completely innocent in this.

Part 1 and Part 2 for anyone who's interested. It's pretty long. The entire thing is just so classless. And I didn't find it particularly convincing either. He kept mentioning how he gave Kiffin a fair opportunity from the beginning, but then refers to numerous players that Kiffin was unhappy to be saddled with (Jamarcus Russell, Randy Moss, Gibril Wilson, etc.). It's clear that no Raiders head coach will ever truly be able to do their job properly as long as he's the owner. I hope Davis isn't able to screw Kiffin over like he did to Mike Shanahan.
Al Davis has been a problem for this franchise for years now, he's clearly out of touch and doesn't trust anyone to run the Raiders and it's screwing the fans of the Raiders over. I think it was blind luck they made the SB in 2002 with this idiot of an owner.
