Go Dodgers! Rumor has it that Kirk Gibson is in the locker room waiting for the right time to come out and pinch hit.
Easy! You know what, I actually don't consider golf a sport either. In golf there is NO defense, and the crowd has to be quiet. I think it's a skill. Baseball is the only "sport" where the defense GIVES the ball to the offense and dares them to score. That's the stupidest shit I've ever heard! Also, neither has a clock, so they can't be sports!
Sorry Dodger fans, but when you have a player on your team whose nickname is Man-Ram, you automatically are relegated to the bottom of the pile. In all seriousness, I'm nervous as a Cubs fan. Stupid rule that says you can't play a team from your own division in the first round. Would have loved to sweep the Brewers and watch the Dodgers and Phillies beat up each other's pitching staffs and leaving them in a pickle going into the NLDS. As it stands, LA should give the Cubs a decent series. But I like the Cubs in 4 or 5. -Pop
Hell no. I live in Portland. My family is from Chicago and I spent my summers as a kid in Chicago. Grew up a Cubs fan like my dad and my grandfather. -Pop
And I was raised to be a Red Sox fan by my grandfather. I think our family must have really hated us to attach us to two franchises of heartbreak. However, the feeling of having your team break through their curse (mine was the curse of Ruth, yours is the curse of the billy goat) is like no other.
I am always excited when the MLB playoffs get here. 1. Soon, I won't have to see 20 minutes of boring scores on the bottom of the screen on ESPN 2. This means that boring shit is almost over and basketball season is close. Did I mention that baseball is boring to me?
The best thing about baseball ending IMO is that it gives me one more option on sports radio. No more Mariner games!!!!!!
if you don't like it stop posting. isn't that simple rule of all forums? let real baseball fans discuss baseball anyway, i like dodgers to go to world series, but red sox to win it all.
