Yeah no need to rush, we're the champs after all, keep it cool for a while and see how the season goes.

I'm pretty sure we'll be alright.

What more can he do, really? Not a whole lot of tradable pieces.

What do you think will happen? It seems to me that if they go the cut route, Darius Miles is the most likely victim. Agree? Any trade rumors out there that would get them down to 15 players?

I'd rather have Kobe and claim that we have the GOAT. ;)

Not sure if they would be able to cut Scalabrine, but he seems like a good choice. It's either him or Miles at this point.

I dont see them cutting Miles, they obviously saw something in him that made them take the risk of picking him up. Why else would they pick up someone who is a health risk? He's not really the "replacement" for Posey that he is labled as, the only simpilrity is that he plays the same position. He doesn't bring the toughness or the ability to hit an open three.

I don't see what Scalabrine brings to this team other than Cheerleading so I could see them dumping him.

Exactly, he won't be getting any playing time, so why not just cut him and risk with Miles.

If Ainge is telling the truth, it won't be Scalabrine.

PLEASE tell me you're joking on both levels.

First, I don't want no stinking Laker traded to my team, I'd throw up in my mouth of Kobe became a Celtic.

2nd... GOAT.. more like goat. Did you see that his play in the finals?? not one rememberable game throughout the series!!

he's not even one of the 20 best players of all time. Ppl will argue that statment right now, but 5-8 years from now they'll see it's true.

Now I'm not a Laker fan either, but that's bull.

I'm gonna call your bluff, name 20 players better than Kobe, any era.

Techncially speaking, our All-Era draft has him at 11th best all-time :D

Yeah I hate saying this but I like Kobe. haha

In my eyes he's top 5 of all time for basketball, even if he was to retire today. You can even make the case (or debate for it) that he's right up there after MJ. He's that good. ;)

LeBron will be included in that list when things are all set and done, and could possibly overtake Kobe's position, but it all depends on what King does during his tenure with the league.

    1. Jordan
    2. Wilt
    3. Russell
    4. Bird
    5. Magic
    6 Kareem
    7. Hakeem
    8. Oscar Robinson
    9. Jerry West
9a. Shaq (forgot him first time ;) )
    10. Dr. J
    11. Moses Malone
    12. Karl Malone
    13. Tim Duncan
    14. John Havlicek
    15. Charles Barkley
    16. Elvin Hayes
    17. John Stockton
    18. Kevin Garnett
    19. Scottie Pippen
    20. Elgin Baylor
    21. Isiah Thomas

I'm taking into consideration career accomplishments (point totals, playoffs, MVP's) and how important they were to their team.
Kobe has time left to move into that list, but right now he's not better than any of those players.

I'm sure someone will try and point out that Kobe is better than say Stockton because Stockton never won a title. Well Stockton is the all time leaders in assists and steals and to me that means something about how great he really was.

right now if Kobe walked away from the game, he's not better than any of those players.

    ^ Wilt ahead of Russell = fail. CK's Kobe-loving = epic fail.
