Torii Hunter has every right to be upset. John Lackey... what a fat sore-losing dumb shit. I hope the Sox keep this in the back of their mind for next year. Show talkers like him exactly what they're getting into.

We outplayed you guys in every game, but your experience and clutch hits were to much for us to handle. The lowest amount of runners that we LOB was 7 in game 4. Lackey is right, we are the better team, but we just got outplayed. No shame in that.

No. The better team won. Simple as that.

Howie Kendrick was a piece of shit for us this series. Complete turn around from a good year for him. His mental lapses also really hurt us. Game 3 should've never even been close if he had taken charge of that "single" (the same can be said for Hunter) and his inability to turn two last night caused the Angels a run. Lackey has every right to be seething pissed off at his defense. He pitched two awesome games, but his defense let him down both times. He gave up a mistake in game 1, but our bats were fucking pathetic. If our bats were working, his record would've likely been 2-0, but they weren't. He is a player that pitches on emotion, he's an ace, and one of the best pitchers in the league. I feel for him, I really do.

We out hit them, but left more men on base then them. The difference between the two teams was they were able to produce the big hit when they needed it, we couldn't. Saying Boston was the better team is pretty funny, the regular season proves that. They beat us, I accept that because they deserved to win, but they were not the better team.

Yeah, and our defense was flawless. Like when Jed Lowrie booted that ball that led to a run. The Red Sox ARE a better team; we won 94 games with our best hitter dogging it, second best hitter and heart of the club on a gimpy knee and torn ligaments on his wrist, our ace out most of the year, and our number 2 starter gone the whole season. We didn't have to give up our future for a run at winning one game in the playoffs (btw, congrats; I didn't think you could do it. Vlad tried his best to blow it for you but you guys persevered. That's heart!) Our young players stepped up and outplayed your 'clearly superior' team.

The regular season spoke for itself. And calling Kotchman our future is a bit drastic.

I"m not bashing you guys in any way, you guys won the series based on your playoff experience and your ability to get the big hit when you guys needed it. That was obvious, it's just frustrating as an Angel fan having probably the most talented team in the league and having our guys not be able to come up with the big hit when they are given numerous opportunities.

As for you bashing Vladdy, I think that is uncalled for. Yeah, he's been bad in the playoffs, but he hit over .400 this series. The same goes for Tex, and Hunter was just under .400. Their only problem was that only Hunter was able to produce runs for us. It's hard to produce runs when you're 3-4-5 guys are hitting singles with no men on and two out. Those are the guys who should be at the plate with guys on base waiting to be driven in.

And Howie Kendrick...I'm so fucking disgusted with him, it's unbelievable. He is always injured, but he's such an amazing hitting prospect. However, with how terrible he did in this post season, striking out numerous times and leaving 10 runners on base in game 2 alone (he struck out 4 times in that game, I believe), I'm ready to trade his ass for some proven talent. He could've snagged us Miguel Cabrera last year, but we decided to hang onto him. Not anymore. Trade his ass.

We've got so much potential, it's scary. Lackey - Santana - Saunders - Weaver - ???. I don't think we will be bringing back Garland, as he was a dud this year.

My teacher, a Red Sox fan, showed us the highlights of the game today in class, and wow was I surprised or what. Willits made one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen. lol. The Angels were making a rally too but he just killed it.

That wasn't on Willits, that mistake was on Aybar. His bread and butter is supposed to be his speed, defense, and ability to lay down the bunt. Willits executed the play perfectly, Aybar failed to make contact.

I think game 1 (may have been 2) would have turned in your favor if Vladdy wasn't tagged out going to third on that bonehead play.

I'd also like to point out that your pinch runner lost a footrace to our 40 year old catcher

That play was terrible by Vladdy. I believe it was game 1, however, that is Angels' baseball. Aggressive base running. Still a bonehead move.

Most offensive players lose rundowns, though.

Maybe if they whine enough some angels will appear and help them next year.

What help do they need getting to the playoffs next year? Texas still has no pitching (I can't see them making a CC or Sheets run, let alone winning it), Oakland won't spend money and still a year or two away with their young team, and Seattle's a disaster. The Angels have a paved road to the 2009 playoffs, barring some kind of abrupt re-alignment.

Sawx should throw $100 million at CC.

I'm a little iffy on CC going forward. A lot of mileage on that arm, and he'll be all to happy to relax once he gets that huge contract. I pity the team that shreds their bank account for him.

Didn't say you did, my point was that every year they're going to be in prime position. I predicted the Angels to sweep this series, before it started.
