    Ask for Calvin Johnson instead.

Hopefully he Lions aren't that stupid - but who knows?

I wouldn't trade them Barber for Roy Williams. Much less sacrifice picks along with Barber.

I'd probably give up picks for Roy. Depending upon the picks...

That's ridiculous. A more realistic trade would be Justin Fargas + pick(s) for Roy Williams :ghoti:.

    Yep. Pre-draft.

I've always imagined the phone call went something like this...

"Oh hai Jerry. This is Matt Millen."
"Matt, what can I do for ya? (smacks lips)"
"Roy Williams is on the block?"
"No wai. What do you want?"
    "Ware."
"Yes, Detroit has some fine crack." Click.

"Huh.... all I hear is a dial tone.... Jerry? Jerry?"

lol but I wouldn't give up Barber he is a good RB and Jerry knows what to do in this situations. He might give them a RB from the practice squad if thats possible. Williams is a good receiver but not worthy for a straight up trade for Barber.

    Agreed bacon.

Barber has 28 TDs the past season. That would be a LOT of production to try and replace. Not worth it. Picks are one thing (and we have 13 of them next year - that's more than we need). But no Barber.

I'd do that in a minute.

    Deal!

Can you takeover as the Lions GM.... I'll attempt a coup and become Cowboys GM. We can get this done.

If they want a RB, how about Tashard Choice and a First for Roy?

Not sure I want to part with a 1st for Roy.

One career 1000 yard season. Not sure its worth a 1st. Dunno.

If Felix Jones wasn't a rookie and was a proven every down back, I think you could pull the trigger on this trade, but as of right now it's a big hell no.

If I were the GM, the decision would have more to do with what I have in Tashard Choice.

I would like to punch the Detroit organization in the face, they are the worst team in NFL and they would go out and make a joke like that. Marion Barber is a better running back them all of there running backs put together. I really hate Detroit, they should be the ones giving us picks not us giving them picks.
