You can find just as many people that, when pressed, don't know Obama's record or his platform.

Its unfortunate people don't have to qualify to vote.

Yeah, but they're not going around calling McCain a terrorist.

I found this on Nate Silver's blog, interesting.

The Obama gang is getting ready to play the race card game once he loses the election. It's a shame really.

Not saying that he'll lose, but if he does, expect the media to go crazy with that game.

Is calling someone a terrorist really racism? Maybe after 9/11, when people called every Arab person a terrorist. But, Obama? This whole insinuating he's a terrorist thing is disgraceful by McCain.

Next up, the McCain campaign is going to try to accuse Obama of being a former member of the Socialist Party.

McCain's campaign is just getting sadder by the day.

    Good point .

But really, you cannot play the race card in this day and age when they have same rights, in some cases even more, then the white men. He's running for the president of the United States, you think the black people voted him in? The majority of the votes he got to beat Hillary were white votes, and yet in his mind I'm pretty sure he has everything planned to play the race game if he is to lose. (plus the media, who are a race card whore, and make things up left and right)

Michelle Obama was being interviewed yesterday and was asked about many of the comments that are being made by the McCain campaign, and the McCain's specifically. She said that they (the Obama's) have a good relationship and that its not in Barrack's character to personally attack others. The Obama campaign should gather more votes simply because of his maturity.

    LOL, That's ignorant.

You guys are acting like white people never play the race card. Just because he's black you think he's going to attribute a potential loss to race? Amazing.

Another thing, it depends on what context ****** is said. If it is tossed between two Black people thats fine. E.g. "Whts up ******"

But if a white man or other were to say it in a Negative tone e.g. You filthy ******" then that for me would mean its worse then Terrorist.

It's not ignorant dude, the African Americans in this country play the race card left and right whenever they feel like it, but when the white men do it, all hell breaks loose.

And yes I'll say it again, in some cases they have more rights then the white men. A lot of companies hire un-qualified African Americans (men and women) just so that they can claim that they are diverse and multicultural company, which is a effin disgrace for this country. If you're not qualified you don't deserve that position (job, whatever), simple as that, whether you're white, black, yellow or green.

And I'm not even from this country, but you can see things that like that daily, if you keep your eyes open.

THe best way to answer this question is by assuming you ask two people why they didn't vote for Obama. One person says "because he's a ******". The other says "because he's a terrorist".

The former is much worse to me, because the person has decided to make a decision about a candidate based solely on appearance alone. The latter, while stupid, is more acceptable, because all it shows is that somebody was able to get into their head with propaganda, and they were just naive/stupid enough to believe it.

To me, being stupid is much more acceptable than being a bigot.

Also to add to that, they think they deserve everything and expect everything to be given to them just because of what happened a couple of decades ago. (with all the discrimination that happened etc)

Again that's not all of them, but I would say more than 50% feel that way. Nobody deserves anything in this day and age, you have to earn everything. I have to go to school and work at the same time to earn a living, I'm not expecting the govt to give my anything, even though I suffered in the past, and left my country because of war, it's just not the type of mentality we have.

What fantasy world are you living in? It is completely untrue that any one race has more rights than the other. I could just as easily argue that African Americans lack rights in other areas, you are focusing on a very tiny and inaccurate circumstance.

Don't you think that there are also some companies who don't hire African Americans simply for that reason? It goes both ways. In some cases white men have more rights as well, don't state one side and blatantly ignore the truth of the opposite.

I don't want to blow this out of proportion but you are being closed minded.

In England we don't get that, we have a BIG problem with Illegal Immagrents, any Foreigner, Mainly Pakistani or from that genral area are all considered Illegals to some people. I don't for two reasons. 1) I live in the South west which isn't as badly populated with Foreign people like some place like Leicster where the British are now the Minority. 2) My Nan often had students from Other countries come over, France, Spain Russia, The Old Eastern Bloc countries, Venezualen and even a few Arabs. What I learnt from them about Culture, different ways of life etc was an amazing oppurtunity. I love Bradaning my Horizons and some people are just plain Arrogant. For example the people in the first Video thinking Obama was a Muslim. Idiots IMO.

    Oh well. Ignorance is Bliss

Jurassic do you know who you are talking too. Forgive I'm wrong but isn't CK from a European Country (Again Forgive me If I'm wrong) so you can't talk to him about being Closed Minded. Most European countries Border a handful of other Countries so surely he is the complete opposite. I personally think the Race card is used too much. No one should Have to use a race card at all IMO. the World needs to realise this IMO

LOL, Dude, how the hell would you know how 50% of a race feels? You can't speak for any race, even your own! Because you see this shit on FOX news and on stereotypical tv shows you are assuming it is all true.

It's amazing to me that you are basically grouping a whole race of people together as people who think they deserve things, with no actual proof of this. There are plenty of people of all races who work hard, also plenty in all races who are lazy and think they deserve things.

You can't group a whole race of people together in any aspect, positive or negative.

    LOL?!

So because I'm talking to a European I'm supposed to assume that he isn't being closed minded even though he is making ignorant comments?

Once again, I'm not going to ASSUME anything about someone because of their race, or where they are from! To assume that he's not being closed minded simply because he is European would be the same as assuming that all black people feel the country owes them something and are constantly playing the race card, which is exactly the assumption that he is making.
