    Andrew blocked Paul Davis' layup.

Vlad with another 3 after some helter-skelter play where Powell got his layup blocked.

Coby looks lost out there, he is playing too fast.

    We are down 38-37.

    I still like Powell's hustle.

If we cut him, look for someone like Denver (his father) or New York to sign him. Any team who plays fast paced and needs shooters will look at him.

Who says Karl is making the roster? He's battling for the last spot just like Heath and Giles.

I think the people who have a chance are Crawford and Powell.

Well Kobe came in for Sun Yue, nothing you can do about that.

Lakers are playing messy, alot of the guys who didn't play with us last year are playing in a frantic pace, and it's making them look worse.

    Vlad with another jumper.

    We're down 47-39.

Heath gets blocked again, then fouls.

    Trevor is back in.

Deandre Jordan and Novak are in for the Clippers.

So yeah, Sasha didn't even make the trip to Fresno.

Luke Walton is the guy on the bench, must feel safer with the boys.

Trevor with a nice dish to Heath. He also made a free throw.

Novak with his 2nd and third threes....Trevor blows an easy layup.

    We're down 55-42.

Free basket for Heath due to goal tending by Jordan.

Kobe played Cuttino for the basket.

Giles with a great putback dunk, good work.

    Trevor called for the charge..

Heath is frustrating me, I really don't know what he is doing, I'd rather see Crawford or Yue.

    We're down 57-48

That Mike Taylor guy for the clippers has pretty sick handles and athleticism, too bad his jumper looked shaky on that one wide open shot ..

    Halftime we are down 59-48.

    Analysis:
Cut Heath please. He is playing like crap, he drives straight into the defense, gets his shot blocked by whoever is down there waiting for him, then let's Mike Taylor burn him EVERY time down. I'm tired of him.

Giles' hustle isn't producing anything, but I can see him hustle for position and the rebounds.

Vlad looks good today, I think he's only missed twice and should have 11 or 13pts by now.

Lamar is a no show. Why the hell is he so useless?

Pau's midrange game was great, and there is not much to comment about the play of Gasol-Bynum combo. Expect a high-low passing game. Bynum is still playing fine, again its his footwork he needs to fix. Got called for 2 or 3 walks/travels. But those are things he can fix.

Trevor is looking really good tonight, hustling and playing D. He is really active tonight, same as last game. He needs to make his jumpers though, people just leave him open, he has to make them pay.

Crawford hasn't played tonight, so no comment.

Powell is playing well tonight as well.

I only have gripes with Lamar, Heath, and Karl tonight. They are all playing like crap, or are nonexistent.

Baron hasn't played since the first quarter, and Camby hasn't gotten off the bench yet.

Poor defense so far, and the offense is getting killed by these rookies rushing it.

After watching the first two preseason games I'm concerned with our team speed. Tonight Mike Taylor was a one man wrecking crew for the Clippers and Baron Davis had his way with our perimeter defense in the first half. Ronnie Price killed us in the Utah game.

When Taylor was in the game none of the Laker guards could get around him, and none of them took advantage of him in the post. It took us out of our offense and the Lakers committed over 20 turnovers tonight on sloppy play.

The Lakers shoudl have used more high pick and roll on Taylor to exploit his aggressiveness. The one time they used it Radman layed Taylor out on a wicked pick and then hit a 3-pointer.

The Lakers have some issues at point guard if Fisher or Farmar get injured. Koby Karl is too hesistant and doesn't have the footspeed to get around his defender, Sun Yue plays like a rookie, and Brandon Heath dribbles with head down and pounds the shit out of the ball.

I also don't like our front court depth with Mihm and Mbenga. They're predictable on offense and Brian Skinner stripped them everytime they went for a weak turnaround move. The Clippers went on a run once Mbenga and Mihm were inserted into the center position.

Sorry for not updating the 2nd half, for some reason my gf's computer wouldn't let me access S2.

    Positives

    - Space Cadet looked great out there. I made an effort to keep an eye on him and he was impressive. His shot looked great, he put effort on defense, and even dived for lose balls. Hopefully he'll keep this up in the season

    - Farmar has looked great these last two games for the most part. You can tell he's worked on his game. I'm glad to see him driving to the hoop more instead of just camping out on the perimeter the whole game.

    - Trevor Ariza finally looks healthy and I'm glad to see him out there again. If the season started tomorrow, he gets the starting job because he has definitely outplayed Lamar by a mile. You can tell he wants the minutes.

    - Pau Gasol is stroking. Where was this shooting touch last year when we needed it? His mid-range game looks great!

    Negatives

    - Bynum had a setback game. He wasn't very impressive, although not exactly horrible. Again, you can tell his timing was off, and he still needs time to get back into game shape.

    - Lamar Odom obviously. He doesn't seem interested out there, doesn't seem like he wants to be out there. Truly the only player I'm really disappointed in.

    - Offense seems kind of out of sync, although I'm sure it will improve with time. We usually always struggle in the preseason anyways, so it's not a big deal.

    - Super scrubs: Crawford, Heath, Giles, Karl showed nothing. Whenever we had them in the game, it was turnover after turnover. Near the end of the 4th quarter was almost comical because these guys couldn't even keep an offensive possession. None of these guys deserve a roster spot, and we will probably start the season off with 14 players.

Shape, we've always had problems with quick players. We've done nothing over the years to fix that. I'm not concerned. I expect the Nash's, Paul's, and Parker's of the league to burn us.

I suppose we should wait a few more games into the season before we do anything drastic with Lamar. I'm not sure there are any enticing deals for him at the moment (though that is a complete guess on my part).

Thanks for the updates and summaries too, I appreciate that.
