This is good news. Well, not that he had surgery... But that he went ahead and did it. He'll recover in time when our schedule starts really picking up. And he might come back 100%. Otherwise, I had a feeling this could be nagging him the entire season. We'll need him healthy to make a deep playoff run.
That's how I see it. Plus ultimately I think it just means we'll see more Orlando Scandrick. I don't think there will be a huge drop off unless Pacman gets suspended/banned/castrated/etc. Newman is great, but neither of our CB's were doing that much in our coverage schemes.
We actually saw more press coverage against Cinci... and Jones responded with his best game to date. Dunno if we'll see press coverage against Arizona's vertical passing game...

Despite the ass ton of injuries we've had in a short span, we'll still make the playoffs. We may be in the best division in football, but this team has too much talent to not make the playoffs. Plus, at some point, you'd think the defense will step up too. Lots of talent there and lots of underachieving going on on that side of the ball.
