Well, Parker is debatable. I think some would say Parker is the better talent. I'm not so sure. Marion on the other hand has a proven track record, so some would give him the nod. I would take Roy over Marion, but that's just my opinion. Butler doesn't have the track record or, really, the better talent. I can't see any reason for putting Butler over Roy.

The thing with Marion is that he's a born complementary player. Any team where he's your best guy probably isn't going to make the playoffs.

Roy can easily be the best player on a playoff team (and may actually be that this year).

Mr. "I stabbed a blind man in the back" Boozer.

Imagine if he stayed with the Cavs. They probably would have played for 3 championships by now.

I don't know about that. It could be argued that Marion is BETTER than Steve Nash, but he doesn't bring to a team what Nash does. Yeah he's a complimentary player, and a team where is he the best player could make the playoffs, but there needs to be someone to distribute the ball. You could say the same thing about Shaq, he was the best player on the Lakers, but could they make the playoffs without an elite guard? No.

The best tandems always include a guard.

#17- Arenas. That means no Rashard Lewis.

I think the list is pretty good. The remaining players are obviously Deron, Dirk, KG, Duncan, Pierce, Nash. Amare, Paul, Kobe, LeBron, Melo, Wade, Baron, Manu, Yao, Howard and they deserve to be.

Man, Deron Williams has to be on the list. But this high? We'll see...

Wasn't DWill 2nd team all NBA? That would be top 10.

I think he's coming soon. Not sure that he is top 10. He might be next. Then Dwight Howard. The top 10 should be LeBron, Kobe, Paul, Amare, Nash, Pierce, Duncan, KG, Dirk, & Wade.

Whoa, Dirk lower than I thought. Well, the Mavs have faltered so much the last two season and I guess they hold that they hold that against him.

I'm not advocating Roy being top 10, but I find it funny how he made the AS team over Deron and I think Manu last year and he was rated much lower than either of those players. It is a list of top 50 players TODAY not CAREER..I still think Roy is a bit slept on. The intangibles he brings to the table are remarkable..just some food for thought.

Deron had a pretty good season THIS YEAR. 20 and 10. Manu had a great season too. I think Roy only made it because of the 13 game win streak and our temporary spot on the top of the division.

I just realized that I left Wade out of my top 10. I would've definitely put him there and probably taken Dirk out.

he's also never made the Western Conference All Star team which would seem to indicate that NBA coaches don't feel he's one of the top 10 players in the West let alone the entire league.

I certainly wouldn't have put him this high, but this is a subjective list.
