http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3653860 Well there you have it. We only needed one cut to get down to 15 players, Miles was the lucky winner.
It depends on if another team picks him up and he plays in 10 games. If no one picks him up, then Portland gets to keep his 9 million off the books, making us huge free agent contenders next year.
Well Danny respectfully disagrees, giving the guy starters money in 2005. I agree he ain't worth dick though, he should be paying us to suit up.
Haha, there are millions of ballers out in the US that would play better than Scal. I don't understand Danny's fascination with him though.
Scal is like Pat Garrity, they always do the PR charity stuff for the organization year after year and that guarantee's them a spot as 12th men each year.
Haha, you should sign up. But I agree with DLee7283, that's probably the reason why they remain on the teams.
Man I remember seeing a pic of Darius from a couple of seasons ago (or was it last?) and he really blew up. Dude was FAT. and I mean like Charles Barkley fat! I think even Charlotte and OKC would've cut him. He wasn't all that great as a Clipper (imo), not all that great as a Blazer, and after a couple of years of absence, I'd be he'd suck as a Celtic too. But he's an OK actor tho, for an NBA player.
For the time being it looks like Portland won't be having to worry about picking up his salary. Who knows though, some NBA team might be willing to give him a shot. He's a low risk/high reward player, so I don't see why a team wouldn't at least give him a shot at some point in the season.
Portland has always given the Lakers problems...therefore...the Lakers' should sign him and play him 11 games, then cut him : ]
